Art Asia runs a thriving programme of weekly music and dance classes at different venues in Southampton. We run three terms a year and each term is 10 lessons long. Our classes are a friendly, fun place to learn and cater for adults and children.

Bollywood is a popular name for the Hindi-language film industry in India.The word ‘Bollywood’ is a mixture of the words ‘Bombay’ (now Mumbai) and ‘Hollywood’. Bollywood Dance is the type of dancing used in these films.

Tutor Biog: Rakhi Sood is a professional teacher, choreographer & performer and has established a reputation for engaging and high quality Bollywood Dance tuition.
Rakhi originally trained in the classical dance style of Kathak. Her innovative Bollywood choreography involves elements of contemporary Kathak blended with Flamenco, Salsa, Jazz, R’n’B, Urban and Bhangra.
