Radio Art Asia Autumn 2001
A Review
Many of our Southampton-based readers report being glued to the
radio for 28 days during November and December 2001, when Radio
Art Asia hit the airwaves! The 24 hour station was organised in
partnership with broadcasting professionals ABN Productions, whose
dedicated team worked round the clock to make Radio Art Asia a resounding
success.
With over 40 volunteer presenters from Southampton, Portsmouth
and Bournemouth, and huge support from local businesses and community
groups, Radio Art Asia really lived up to its aim to be broadcasting
for the community, to the community and by the community.
Many thanks to all those who supported Radio Art Asia please
continue to write in with letters of support
and those of you
who couldnt get the station, we need your views to help us
get a licence to cover a wider area next time!
