MISSION STATEMENT
To promote and develop high quality performance of South Asian arts, music and dance, enhanced by educational activities, to provide a rich and satisfying experience for all.
OBJECTIVES
1) Promote a positive image of South Asian arts and culture.
2) Provide an experience of high-quality arts for the community and bring national and international artists to the Southern region.
3) Encourage and nurture local talent through educational activities both within Art Asia and in partnership with other organisations, both statutory and voluntary.
4) Encourage and support other organisations and individuals in their pursuit and development of South Asian arts.
5) Liaise with private sector, statutory and voluntary organisations to promote good relationships and encourage collaboration.
6) Offer information and advice on South Asian arts and culture, and disseminate information on local and national events.
7) Create access to South Asian arts for all.
8) Work to explore and develop new cross-cultural art forms and collaborations.
