FAQ

You are here: Home > About Us > FAQ

What does 'South Asian arts' mean?
When we say South Asian arts, we are talking about arts from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Is Art Asia just for Asian people?
Absolutely not! We encourage access to South Asian arts for everyone, and all our classes and events have a broad mix of people from all backgrounds and levels of experience.

Do you have to be a member to join a class?
No, all our activities and events are open to everyone. However, lots of people choose to become members to support Art Asia and for the benefits we offer.

What area do you cover?
Our main focus is Southampton and Hampshire, but we also work across Southern England and our information and advice service is open to anyone in the world.
